As everyone knows, because of the high technical requirements of injection molds, the steady and long-term development trend is inseparable from the cutting-edge injection mold manufacturing processing technology level. What is the reason why injection mold manufacturing is difficult?


Causes of injection mold processing difficulties:

1. Complex cavity and core.

Plastic parts are composed of cavity and core combination, direct injection molding. It is difficult to process complex cavity, especially the blind inner forming surface of some cavity. In this case, if the traditional injection molding processing method is used, in addition to consuming more auxiliary jigs and tools, experienced injection molding manufacturing masters are also needed, and the injection molding processing cycle will also be extended.


2. High requirements for the precision and appearance of plastic parts.

Ejector device is an important factor affecting the deformation and dimensional accuracy of plastic parts. Therefore, in the injection mold design, the ejector point should be selected to ensure uniform release of plastic parts. In structural design, most high-precision injection molds use Mosaic or full splicing structure, which greatly improves the processing accuracy and interchangeability of mold parts.


3. The process is cumbersome and the manufacturing and processing time is urgent.

Most plastic parts are complete products composed of matching parts, so there are high requirements for precision. After the mold manufacturing is completed, it must be tested and corrected repeatedly. Therefore, the design, development and delivery cycle of injection molds is urgent, and each link cannot be ignored.
